Welcome to FivMadrid, a clinic which is specialised in all areas related to Reproductive Medicine. On this web page, you will find concise information about who we are, about our professional activity, our achievements and an outline of our philosophy regarding our work. At the same time, we will try and clarify some of the doubts which you may have about infertility, impotence and treatments of assisted reproduction, etc. We will not be able to cover all of them here, as there is limited space on this web page and so we warmly invite you to come to FivMadrid, if you so wish, to find your answers.

If you decide to visit us, we will do our very best to convey to you the special atmosphere which prevails here at FivMadrid and which is the result of the relationship and the dedication which all the staff at the Clinic put into each and every one of our patients. Moreover, at FivMadrid, we do not perceive fertility treatments as ?mere techniques? which can be applied and replicated from one place to another and from one patient to another in a routine fashion, rather we perceive them as treatments which are based on the awareness that each patient has a different rhythm and tempo, both on a medical and on a psychological level. |
In 1992, when FivMadrid was set up, the main aim of the Clinic was to offer infertile couples the most advanced and state of the art treatments available in the field of Reproductive Medicine. However, in recent years the profile of the patients who come to FivMadrid has changed considerably. At present, there are many single women who come to FivMadrid in search of help to achieve pregnancy. Therefore, we would like to extend a warm welcome at FivMadrid to any woman who wishes to become a mother.
Currently, our pregnancy rates (results) exceed 50% in women who are younger than 35 years of age and who are treated with IVF/ICSI or with egg donation. However, at the present time, our greatest challenge lies not so much in increasing pregnancy rates, which we are sure that we will achieve, rather in reducing the number of multiple pregnancies to a minimum. In this context, and as a result of agreement between doctors and patients, 70% of the pregnancies since the year 2003 involve a single embryo, 25% twins and 0% triplets.
In spite of all these successes, we are actively continuing our work and our research at FivMadrid so that you will have the greatest chance of achieving pregnancy and in the shortest possible time.
